Companies of the CSG Defence division will present themselves at the IDEB fair in Bratislava

In addition to the Czech Republic, Slovakia is the home market of a number of companies belonging to the Czechoslovak Group (CSG). That is why this year they will be exhibiting at the IDEB defence technology fair, which takes place regularly in Bratislava, Slovakia. The upcoming IDEB 2024 will take place from May 14 to 16. At the stand of the CSG Defense division, which includes defence technology manufacturers within the CSG, Tatra Export in cooperation with Tatra Defense Slovakia, MSM Group, MSM Land Systems, Karbox, Czech Camouflage Systems and Tatra Defense Vehicle will be presented. The main exhibits of the joint exhibition at stand 101 in hall D will be mainly military vehicles and ammunition for heavy military weapon systems. The stand of the CSG Defence division will be the largest exhibition of the IDEB fair with an area of 600 m2.

Tatra Export in cooperation with the partner company Tatra Defence Slovakia will present the entire range of Tatra vehicles for military use. Tatra medium and heavy logistics vehicles are used in many armies of the world, including the armed forces of NATO countries and, of course, also in the Slovak army. In addition, Tatra Defence Slovakia has capacities that enable the eventual delivery of new Tatra vehicles for the Slovak army in the future. The production of Tatra vehicles for the Slovak army would also mean new jobs in Slovakia and a high degree of self-sufficiency of the Slovak army in the field of logistics vehicles. At the stand, visitors and experts will be able to familiarize themselves with the latest Tatra military vehicles as well as chassis for special systems, mainly logistics flatbed vehicles, tanks for transporting fuel or hook loaders. The presentation will be complemented by a large exhibit in the form of a Tatra Force 8x8 heavy truck.

Companies of the MSM Group holding, namely ZVS Holding, VOP Nováky or the Spanish company FM Granada, will also be presented at the joint stand of the CSG Defence division. They are the traditional manufacturers of various types of medium- and large-calibre ammunition. Experts and the public will be able to view, for example, ammunition for 30 mm calibre cannons, as well as 105 mm and 120 mm tank ammunition of NATO standards or 125 mm calibre suitable for the so-called Eastern standard tanks. The companies will also display 105 mm and 155 mm NATO calibre artillery ammunition and 122 mm calibre ammunition intended for older non-NATO artillery systems.

In addition, training ammunition for tanks and artillery will also be presented, and last but not least, mortar ammunition in calibres 60 mm, 81 mm, 98 mm, 120 mm or unguided rockets in calibre 122 mm of the Grad system. Pyrotechnic components and igniters needed for ammunition production will also have their place in the exhibition. In the outdoor exhibition, it will be possible to see the command post installed in a specialized container as well as the mobile control tower Disk 2 for field airport produced by Vývoj Martin, which also belongs to the MSM Group.

The company MSM Land Systems will bring the Patriot 4x4 armoured vehicle to Bratislava in the version offered to the Slovak armed forces. The company will also present its programs for the repair and modernization of tanks or tracked infantry fighting vehicles, as well as its expertise and certification in the field of inspection of a cistern equipment. During IDEB 2024, MSM Land Systems also plans to establish close partnership with its partners, such as Patria and Rheinmetall. In addition, the company Tatra Defence Vehicle, a manufacturer of armoured vehicles such as Pandur II 8x8 and TITUS, will be presented at the joint stand of CSG Defence.

The companies Karbox and Czech Camouflage Systems will be presenting together at a separate stand. Karbox will present the installation of a Marrel hook loader and a new type of transport platform on a Tatra chassis, which has recently successfully passed military trials. Czech Camouflage Systems offers a wide range of camouflage systems for vehicles, while in Bratislava it will present multi-spectral camouflage system in both mobile and static versions on the cabin of a Tatra truck.
