Excalibur Army Wins Record Export Contract for Patriot Vehicles

CSG Group, through its subsidiary Excalibur Army, has secured contracts in Southeast Asia for the delivery of more than 100 Patriot armored vehicles in various configurations. The total value of these contracts exceeds USD 300 million. Deliveries are scheduled to be completed within a three-year timeframe.

The order includes a wide range of Patriot platform variants designed for modern land forces, from mortar carrier vehicles and command vehicles to armored personnel carriers, wheeled infantry fighting vehicles, and armored medical evacuation versions.

“Within the CSG Group, Excalibur Army specializes in the development and production of top-tier land systems, often based on Tatra chassis. The contract in Southeast Asia confirms the trust of our partners and builds on our successful track record of deliveries in this region, where we have previously exported, for example, bridging systems and rocket launchers,” said Vladimír Stulančák, CEO of Excalibur Army.

The Patriot armored vehicle is built on the outstanding off-road wheeled Tatra chassis, featuring the unique central backbone tube design with independent swinging half-axels, ensuring high mobility even in demanding conditions. This project represents the largest export order for the Patriot platform to date and confirms its versatility as well as its ability to be tailored to the customer’s specific requirements.

Patriot 4x4

Patriot vehicles have been designed as a medium-class armored wheeled combat vehicles with remote controlled weapon station equipped with gun mounts, carrying potentially up to 20 mm RCWS, 7.62, 12.7 or 14.5 mm calibre machine guns, automatic grenade launchers, and anti-tank weapon systems.

Patriot can be produced as a multi-purpose tactical vehicle in configurations suitable for artillery support, general military reconnaissance, command and staff, chemical medevac and other. The Patriot is a development of the first generation of Patriot vehicle that was produced in 2018. Incorporating several new features, especially a prolonged cabin with more space for troops and equipment.

Thanks to versatile platform vehicles mission kits can be modified as per customer requests. Due to A/C and NBC filtration system there is a high level of comfort and safety for crew. The cabin and the engine are also equipped by fire-extinguishing system and self-cooled system. Regarding to air and water cooled engine is the vehicle suitable for every environment.
